Business and Change  Management Consultancy

  • Victoria designed a new operating model and cultural alignment between two organisations who had previously acted as competitors during a stressful time for the organisation. She successfully implemented this over a 9-month period alongside the introduction of hybrid working patterns to facilitate a building move and improve staff wellbeing.

  • She worked with the Chief Transformation Officer of a large heathcare provider to overhaul the Tech and Transformation operating model aligning with the four strategic pillars, implemented five new teams and over 20 new role profiles. This required an in-depth assessment of the currently structure, mapping of new project requirements, and implementation of new ways of working.

  • We developed and implemented a change request and governance processes saving over £3 million in additional development fees. The new streamlined process reduced the time taken to reach a decision and improved the communication to stakeholders. This resulted in a better understanding of the process workarounds that were needed, decreasing urgency at readiness and go live stage.

  • We introducied a narrative-based performance management process to a Canadian Brewery. This involved training and coaching the manager in the implementation of the process. The feedback from the Operations Manager was that he felt much more comfortable managing performance and having development conversations. It also highlighted some areas where the employees wanted to develop the business as well as themselves.

  • We were asked to carry out some qualitative research within a Global Outsourcer to understand what progress they were making in gender diversity in their senior leadership positions and what more they could do to improve. Victoria carried out 20 interviews with CEO/MD level leaders to identify areas of best practice and potential barriers for women progressing into senior roles producing a detailed report with recommendations for the board.

  • We carried out a listening exercise with staff member from a regional housing association to gain a deeper understanding of the results from a recent employee engagement survey. Interviews were carried out with a range of employee to understand a gender discrepancy of reported employee satisfaction. Responses were collated into themes and contextualised within the academic literature before being delivered to the board with recommendations for action.

Coaching

Leadership Coaching

  • Victoria provided coaching to senior leaders within the Defence Sector through an operational excellence transformation programme. By supporting them to design their own tools in consultation with their team while providing guidance through coaching questions and feedback, we achieved a faster and more sustainable outcome.

Training

Training Design and Development

  • Victoria developed a bespoke leadership training course and delivered it across different global and cultural contexts. She used stakeholder training needs assessment alongside Hogan Leadership Development assessments to determine the necessary training outcomes, rapidly built a training programme, and delivered it to an audience with different language needs (simultaneous translation provided by an external supplier). She also produced ongoing coaching and development plans for the Global Lead to use with his team.

  • We worked in partnership with a Canadian Business Psychologist to create a diversity and inclusion training programme for two small Canadian breweries. The key focus was on race and gender, but also contained elements of LGBTQ, Neurodiversity, and Disability awareness. The training took the form of core awareness training for all employees, followed by group coaching sessions for the leadership team to build confidence in starting conversations.

Braden, Canada.

“The workshop presented by Victoria has been immensely useful in highlighting the many ways to adjust our social media practices to be more inclusive. More importantly, they were accompanied by best practices and counsel to help implement the changes in a meaningful way that took into consideration our specific audience needs.”

Jorden, Canada

“We didn’t’ really know where to start with our EDI journey and thankfully Victoria was able to hold our team’s hand through the whole process. Victoria was clear and concise and helped us see things from a difference perspective after each session.”

Dan, UK

"I recently contracted Vikki to deliver an EDI session as part of our Digital Summit. Vikki deliverred a perfectly pitched and interactive session aimed at raising awareness of unconscious bias. I'd have no trouble recommending Vikki for future projects."
